Do you have struggles conveying your emotions effectively? Hello, my name is Jasmine Broadnax, LCSW. Throughout my career, I have assisted individuals of various age groups and families who have encountered difficulty related to Neurodivergent complexities, trauma, Autism, Obsessive Compulsion Disorder, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and more. Certified in Trauma and Resilience (CTRC) and EMDR trained. My job is to help you overcome negative habits, achieve new goals, and implement change. Allow me to offer you support and empower you with techniques to break old pattern and develop new healthy skills.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial session, we will begin with an intake that involves a short introduction and discussing the issue at hand. Together we will collaborate and identify the core concerns and behaviors that you would like to see change. We would then schedule a follow up for the second session that would involve you and I collectively creating goals and objectives that you would like to work towards.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is listening. Giving you a safe place to express yourself in a free, non-judging atmosphere and empowering you with support throughout your journey.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The fundamental aspect of therapy is addressing negative thoughts and transforming them as well as shifting positive behavior change. While incorporating other techniques, CBT Therapy serves as the primary approach.

EMDR

EMDR is incorporated with the use of taking negative emotions/thoughts and help desensitize the emotions with positive cognitions to help eliminate the negative voice behind the emotion/thought.
