I'm a board-certified Psychiatric NP with years of experience in mental health care, including working as a Psych RN before becoming an NP.
My goal is to help you feel heard, understood and supported every step of the way!
First session
During the first session, you can expect a supportive and relaxed conversation focused on getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you in, your concerns, your history, and what you hope to improve or achieve. I’ll also ask about your goals so we can begin identifying initial treatment priorities and discuss potential options that align with your needs. This session is a chance for us to connect, build rapport, and start shaping a collaborative care plan together.
Strengths
One of my biggest strengths is helping you feel heard, understood, and not judged, while still giving you clear direction on what to do next. I balance support with structure, we’ll talk through what’s going on, but I’ll also help you build real-life tools you can actually use. I combine medication management with CBT, supportive therapy, and Motivational Interviewing so you’re not just getting treatment—you’re learning how to manage things on your own over time.
Ideal clients
I work best with individuals experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, and life stressors, especially those who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next steps. Many of my clients are navigating work-related stress, major life transitions, or difficulty managing day-to-day responsibilities due to their symptoms. I’m particularly well-suited for clients who are open to a collaborative approach, whether that includes medication, therapy, or both. If you’re looking to better understand your symptoms, build coping skills, and create realistic, sustainable change, we would likely be a good fit.
Treatment methods
Supportive
I offer supportive therapy, which means creating a space where you can talk openly, feel understood, and work through what’s been weighing on you. I help you develop practical coping strategies and manage day-to-day stress, while also using Motivational Interviewing to help you feel more confident and clear about your next steps.
