Hi my name is Lorena Mendez. I am a Licensed Social Worker. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Therapy to me is supporting others to achieve their goals. When I am not providing therapeutic services I am working out or spending time with family and friends. I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. I have found that my approach to working with others in different age groups who are going through life changes and social stressors have been successful.

In out first session you can expect to provided information on you reason for seeking therapy at this time. I will assist clients with creating goals that they feel align with their needs. I treat every client with respect and empathy. I like to create clear boundaries with my clients. I like to provide a safe space for my clients.

I use strength-based therapy to help individuals pull on their strengths to empower them. It creates clients to identify, develop, and utilize strengths to overcome their challenges and improve their well-being.
