Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut. I have over 12 years experience treating adolescents to older adults who are struggling with a range of issues. I completed my Master's degree from Southern Connecticut State University in clinical mental health counseling. Previously I have worked in a residential substance use program, psychiatric emergency department, intensive outpatient program and inpatient psychiatric hospital.
During a first session, I will spend time asking questions about your childhood up until the present day to get a good understanding of your life process which has molded the person you are today. We will discuss your family dynamics, social life, medical issues, psychiatric history among other topics. This will be your time to inform me of anything important in your life and why you are seeking therapy.
I think the greatest strength is treating you as you are. I will not judge. I will listen and I will gladly use my humor when needed.
I am most passionate about assisting young adults during their vulnerable time of need as they graduate from high school or college and enter the world of “adulting”.

My therapist is someone who has a way of lifting me up with her words. She’s empowering and direct—she tells me what I need to hear, not just what I want to hear—but she does it with so much humility and genuine understanding. She makes me feel both guided and respected at the same time, and her kindness creates a space where I feel safe to grow.

I tend to talk a lot and she was definitely flexible with me during our first session. I have talked to about 3 different therapist before and this is definitely the most comfortable. She is really nice and approachable, I felt comfortable even sharing the ugliest parts of my story.
