I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Virginia. I received my Masters degree from Liberty University. I have been in the mental health field for close to 20 years. My experience ranges from working with elementary-age children to adults. I have worked in school-based settings from elementary school to high school. I have also served as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) in various roles.
During our first session, we will focus on building rapport, and together, we will figure out your challenges. We will create a plan that targets your specific challenges, and this plan will help guide our future sessions.
My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to build therapeutic rapport and foster trust with my clients.
I enjoy working with children and adolescents, teaching them skills and strategies to help them navigate the challenges they are facing.

I have used CBT to help clients focus on finding solutions, encouraging positive behavior change, and challenging negative thoughts. I focus on the goal-oriented approach by identifying negative thought patterns and behavior. We will work collaboratively to change those negative patterns and behaviors.
