LCSW, 5 years of experience
I help individuals find empowerment and overcome self-limiting beliefs, stress, and anxiety by using a sense of humor with a warm and relatable approach and tailored to your specific therapy goals. Hello, my name is "Marty" Ferraioli, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Virginia. If you're feeling stuck in these turbulent times, feeling unfulfilled, struggling with relationship issues, work-related stressors, symptoms of ADHD, Trauma, Anxiety/Depression, reach out to see how we can partner together toward your wellness goals. My clients frequently rebook sessions and a significant decrease in symptoms within a few sessions. I believe in providing my clients with a compassionate and safe environment that fosters progress toward reducing symptoms and moving toward optimal wellness.
During our first session we will gather background information, review treatment goals and expectations for therapy as well as, dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
The feedback I receive from my clients is that they enjoy the fact I am proactive and care about their wellbeing, I am actively engaged in sessions and I provide direction in the therapy assignments I provide as well as, humor and relatability. My clients report that they feel supported and more positive after the initial session.
I offer a non-judgmental, supportive and affirming environment, where each person can freely express themselves and begin their journey of self-healing.
Marty Ferraioli offers therapy covered by UnitedHealthcare/Optum - Medicaid in Virginia.
I use a creative approach to the evidence-based practices, engaging my clients in understanding the CBT relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviors to initiate positive change to thwart the unhelpful thinking traps which keep client's stuck in a loop of behaviors that hold them back from achieving goals, moving forward and feeling more positive about themselves.
I engage clients in self awareness of feelings and thoughts to move through emotional situations and engage in more positive interactions with others, including setting healthy emotional boundaries for more balanced and positive relationships with themselves and with others.
I use psychoanalytic therapy with a trauma-informed lens to help my clients explore and understand how their past experiences influence their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I aid my clients in moving through their past experiences, crafting a new narrative and repairing their unhealed, fractured selves.
