I received my Masters from Temple University & have been working in the field for over fifteen years. I work with adults with disordered eating, trauma, and/or substance use disorders to find recovery that works for you.

First session
During our first session, we'll mostly talk about what brought you into therapy and what you're hoping to get out of it. I also like to understand past therapy experiences and what you've found helpful and unhelpful in previous therapy experiences. We don't need to do a deep dive on past trauma in session one if you don't want to -- I know it can be overwhelming to share nothing but the hardest times in your life in session number one.

ACT focuses on using mindfulness, acceptance, and connecting with your values to live a life that is rich and meaningful. I will work with you on developing mindfulness skills you can use in day to day life, understanding your motivation, and living with purpose.
