(she/her)
Welcome! I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) specializing in medication management and supportive therapy. My practice upholds the importance of mindfulness, staying fully present and engaged at the moment without judgment. This commitment to mindfulness allows me to assess and address each patient's needs attentively, considering every aspect of their unique mental health journey. We value peace in my practice, not just as an end goal but also as an essential component of our therapeutic environment. Creating a peaceful, non-judgmental space for individuals from all walks of life encourages open dialogue and improves mental health outcomes. I am passionate about the principle of 'one step at a time,' especially when adapting to medication management. This approach ensures that changes to your medication regime are made gradually and thoughtfully, providing ample opportunity for you to adjust and for us to monitor your progress closely. Embracing diversity and respecting each patient's privacy and time are integral parts of my practice, and I aim to foster trust through these values. My dedication is not merely to the clock but to you as an individual and to enhancing the overall quality of your mental health by tailoring treatment plans to your unique needs. Witnessing my clients' improvements fuels my passion for mental health, propelling a patient-centric approach during sessions. I see my work as a calling and find immense inspiration in helping clients lead healthier, happier lives. Thank you for considering me as your mental health partner. Let's embark on this journey towards mental well-being, taking one mindful, peaceful step at a time.
During your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where we will focus on getting to know you and your mental health needs. We’ll discuss your medical and psychiatric history, current concerns, and any symptoms you're experiencing. This will allow me to tailor a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication management or other therapeutic interventions. My goal is to ensure that you feel heard, understood, and comfortable as we begin your journey toward improved mental wellness.
My strengths lie in creating a non-judgmental, safe space where clients feel valued and respected. I excel in patient-focused medication management, integrating this with supportive therapy tailored to individual needs. My dedication to respecting clients' time and privacy allows me to build robust therapeutic relationships. Being a PMHNP-BC, I've honed my skills in diagnosing, managing, and treating mental health disorders, focusing on holistic care. I am particularly proficient in managing complex cases, helping clients navigate their mental health journey with empathy and understanding.
I am best positioned to serve adolescents and adults, ages 12 to 65, who are looking for a compassionate, down-to-earth provider to support them on their mental health journey. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, managing anxiety, depression, or ADHD, or simply trying to better understand their emotions and experiences. I work well with clients who appreciate a collaborative approach — where we explore options together and find solutions that feel realistic and comfortable for them. Whether you’re new to mental health treatment or looking for a provider who will listen without judgment, I aim to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I also enjoy working with clients who are currently in therapy and would benefit from coordinated care, where I can work alongside your therapist to provide well-rounded support tailored to your unique needs. Above all, I’m here for anyone who’s ready to take a step toward feeling better, even if you’re not quite sure where to start. My role is to meet you where you are and walk with you at your own pace.
Supportive therapy is often used in conjunction with other treatments to address patients' multifaceted needs, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care. I may coordinate with other healthcare professionals to implement supportive therapies that align with the patient's treatment goals.
