I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with individuals, adolescents, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I’m especially passionate about serving the Black community and underserved populations, integrating a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach. As both a therapist and ordained pastor, I also offer faith-based support for clients who desire it, helping them find healing, clarity, and balance.
In our first session, you can expect a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where we begin building trust and understanding your story. We’ll explore what brings you in, your goals for therapy, and any concerns or questions you may have. I’ll also share how I work and collaborate with you to create a plan that feels supportive and aligned with your needs.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to integrate clinical expertise with cultural awareness and, when desired, faith-based perspectives. I use approaches like CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients better understand their patterns and create meaningful change. I’m known for creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, challenged, and empowered to grow while building practical tools for lasting impact.
I’m best positioned to work with individuals and couples who are motivated for growth and open to exploring patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck in cycles they don’t fully understand. I especially work well with clients who want both practical tools and deeper insight—those who are willing to reflect, be honest, and take small steps toward change. I also support clients who want to incorporate their faith into the process, helping them align their emotional and relational health with their values.
