Hello, I am so glad you are here! I’m Brittney Mota, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As a second-generation Hispanic, I understand how cultural identity and generational dynamics can shape your experiences. I specialize in working with highly sensitive people. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or pressured by family expectations while trying to figure out who they are. Are you a deep processor, an empath, a caregiver, or an overwhelmed high achiever who always puts others first? If you find it exhausting to carry the weight of the world, I'm here to help you set that burden down. Reach out today—I would love to meet you and support you on your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My approach is client-centered, meaning your preferences, values, needs, and goals are an important part of the therapeutic process. This is your space, and our work together should reflect what feels meaningful and important to you. After our first session, you can decide whether I feel like the right fit. And if not, I’m more than happy to help connect you with a provider who better aligns with what you’re looking for.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I utilize a strength based approach to focus on what’s already working in your life while creating a safe, supportive space to explore what feels challenging. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in a way that feels relatable, helping you better understand your thoughts and emotions, manage anxiety, and work through difficult experiences at your own pace. Sessions with me are collaborative, supportive, and real. I’ll gently challenge you when needed, always at a pace that feels manageable for you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of your next step? You don't have to navigate it alone. Adulthood can bring anxiety, relationship challenges, family stress, and big life transitions and it's okay if you're still figuring things out. I understand the complexities of cultural identity, generational dynamics, and the unique pressures that can come with balancing family expectations and personal growth. Together we will focus on goals that matter to you and build practicial tools to help you feel more confident, grounded, and empowered.
