As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Connecticut, I am committed to providing excellent and evidenced based care to individuals across the life span with mental disorders. My educational and professional trainings enable me to diagnose, and manage a range of mental illnesses, including mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. My strength lies in the ability to empathize, understand, and establish therapeutic relationships. Empowering individuals and their families as they navigate the complexities of psychiatric challenges is my passion.

First session
Our first meeting seeks to establish care built on trust for a therapeutic relationship. Expect to be heard and understood as you relay the purpose of your visit. A thorough evaluation includes interviewing for previous psychiatric history, family history, and social history among others. The meeting ends with the formulation of a safe and a jointly agreed upon treatment plan, setting the foundation for follow up visits.
Strengths
My goal of empowering individuals to make safe, and healthy informed decisions is achieved through my greatest strengths of empathy, ability to communicate care, carry out motivational Interviews, and administer psychoeducation during sessions.
Ideal clients
My dream patients are not defined by a diagnosis, but by their courage to seek help and their willingness to trust me with their most vulnerable truths. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I envision working with individuals from all walks of life—teenagers navigating the turbulence of identity, adults carrying the weight of unspoken trauma, and elders facing the quiet loneliness of aging. My ideal patients are those who, despite fear or stigma, take the brave step towards healing. I dream of creating a therapeutic space where they feel seen, heard, and valued, and where together we can chart a path toward stability, resilience, and renewed hope.
Treatment methods
Supportive
I utilize supportive therapy as a practical, patient-centered tool and approach during patient encounters to enhance emotional well-being, improve adherence, and strengthen the therapeutic relationship—without requiring long, formal psychotherapy sessions.
Motivational Interviewing
I utilize the principles of Motivational Interviewing {MI} during medication management visits as a patient centered counselling approach to enhance motivation to change. MI support my clients in making health related behavioral changes particularly in areas including substance use, medication adherence, and lifestyle modification.
Psychoeducation
I take providing my clients and their caregivers with information about their mental health conditions serious. Clients through psychoeducation will gain insight, thereby enhance their understanding and get empowered to take actions on improving their mental health conditions.
