I am a licensed professional counselor based in MD. I received my Masters in Counseling from Columbia University and have been practicing for 26 years in a variety of settings. I have worked in schools, hospitals, substance abuse programs, mental health clinics and private practice. I love helping clients become the best version of themselves. I offer a non judgmental space to help clients navigate the path to healing.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I am non judgmental and empathetic. I am also very open to various techniques and willing to help in different modalities to help achieve your goals.
I enjoy working with teens and adults. I believe in the inherent strength and resilience within each individual, and I am committed to supporting my clients in harnessing their innate capacity for growth and healing. I view therapy as a partnership, where together we explore challenges, uncover insights, and cultivate strategies for positive change.

Couples who engage with and complete this process emerge from the other side, feeling closer and seeing each other differently.

As a client of Jen's over the last 3.5 years, I've always felt comfortable opening up knowing there is no judgement. Jen is wonderful at giving guidance and offering multiple approaches to situations. If you're looking for a genuine therapist who is warm, yet will still challenge you to be your best self, I'd highly recommend Jen!
