Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California. I have been supporting clients as they work towards healing and self growth for the past 12 years. I provide a compassionate and safe space for my clients to move from surviving to thriving. I am strength based and have an eclectic approach to therapy. I have experience working with children, families, and adults. I have a passion for working with clients who identify as highly sensitive, having anxiety and those who struggle with body image and food relationship issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session we will cover the housekeeping items, and then explore the reason you are coming to therapy and what your ideal outcome would be. This will help me identify goals for treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients have described me as compassionate, grounded and intuitive. I enjoy bringing my authentic self to session and striking a balance of listening and offering feedback. I try to match my clients energy and offer skills or homework based on your style and preferences. I love pointing out progress and empowering clients who want to see real lasting change in their life.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love helping clients who are managing life transitions including adolescents navigating self-development, young adults stepping into college or the workplace or women stepping into motherhood or the next phase of their career. I love seeing my clients find balance, learn how to cultivate self compassion and develop skills and tools to cope with the challenges of life as well as to be effective in their relationships.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I have had the privilege of coming alongside clients with various trauma experiences including but not limited to abuse, loss, and domestic violence. I take a gentle, compassionate approach, as an empowering supporter to come alongside and provide a safe place during your process of healing. I am trained in Trauma Resilience Model (TRM) which uses a variety of techniques to help clients create safety within themselves and to cope with trauma responses.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I believe our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are intricately connected. I provide a balance of education, exploration and practices to help my clients evaluate their beliefs, and explore new behaviors that support them in feeling better.

Eclectic

I enjoy blending different aspects of narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and somatic therapy. I try to offer different approaches depending on what resonates with my clients.
