I strive to display empathy, trust, support towards each of my clients while maintaining a nonjudgmental collaborative environment where growth can occur. Whether you are facing hardship, feeling stuck in life, or just wanting to make positive changes in your life, I would be honored to support you in your journey toward wellness based on a Christian perspective. On a personal note, when I am not counseling you can find me lounging by the pool or beach, hiking through a park or attending a play or event.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I would like for us to begin to establish rapport by getting to know your strengths, areas you consider to be weaknesses, and what you hope to gain from our sessions to best gauge if we are a good fit. This would also be a good time to identify any potential barriers to commitment to our sessions. My desire if for you to leave our sessions feeling revived, renewed and refreshed to continue to handle all of life's daily challenges with acquired therapeutic skills.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I have a collaborative approach to therapy that recognizes the client as the expert in their life. My counseling framework includes elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, as well a culturally sensitive approach to client-centered therapy depending on the needs of the client.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
