I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to helping adults and teens navigate life’s challenges. Specializing in anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, and substance use, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can begin. With a strong foundation in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and trauma-informed care, I work collaboratively with each client to build practical skills and deepen self-understanding. Whether you're just starting your healing journey or looking to strengthen your recovery, I meet you where you are — with empathy, clarity, and support tailored to your unique needs.
Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you're struggling with, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You don’t have to have it all figured out — many people come in feeling unsure or even nervous. That’s completely normal. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, current challenges, and goals. You’re also welcome to ask me questions — about therapy, how I work, or anything else on your mind. There’s no pressure to dive deep right away. We go at your pace, and we build trust over time. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer picture of how we can work together and what our next steps will be. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful about the path ahead
One of my greatest strengths is creating a safe, down-to-earth space where clients feel seen, accepted, and challenged in a supportive way. I bring a blend of structure and warmth — helping you make real progress while honoring your pace and experiences. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and trauma-informed care, which means I focus on practical strategies that address thoughts, behaviors, and underlying wounds. I’m skilled at helping clients break patterns of avoidance, manage overwhelming emotions, and build confidence in their ability to handle life’s challenges. Clients often tell me they feel understood without judgment — and that I help them connect the dots between their experiences and current struggles, leading to lasting change. Whether you’re working through anxiety, trauma, substance use, or OCD, I’ll meet you with compassion, clarity, and a grounded, collaborative approach.
I work best with adults and teens who are ready to explore the patterns that keep them stuck — whether that's anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, or substance use. My ideal clients may feel overwhelmed by racing thoughts, emotional ups and downs, or the pull of old habits that no longer serve them. They might be struggling with motivation, self-worth, or relationships, but they’re open to trying something new, even if it feels uncomfortable at first. Many of the individuals I work with have tried to “push through” on their own and are now looking for real tools, deeper insight, and a space where they don’t have to pretend everything’s okay. Whether you're in early recovery, navigating a transition, or facing long-standing challenges, you're not alone — and you don’t have to do it alone.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is used in order to identify negative thinking patters that lead to negative emotions & behaviors. Through the use of CBT we can change the negative thought patterns to make you feel & act in a more positive way.
Cognitive processing is a form of CBT that is used specifically to treat trauma and PTSD. Through this method we identify your "stuck points" that are preventing you from seeing the world around you in a more positive way.
You are the expert in your own life & through motivational interviewing I will guide you to develop your own goals & ways to move toward a more positive direction in your life.
ERP is an approach that is typically used with anxiety disorders and well known to be used with OCD. Through this approach you will learn to become comfortable with the distress that you feel during different situations.
