I really enjoy talking about life in general and I hope to bring that to the therapy. I look at sessions like a conversation about psychology while providing structure to achieve goals. I hope that makes it interesting while remaining focused on you as an individual. I think life is very much about learning new things. This philosophy supports being a person who needs to learn and grow.
I'm Beth Kaminsky, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in modern psychoanalytic and attachment-based therapy, integrated with mindfulness-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Much of my work centers on a simple but often overlooked idea: the patterns shaping your life today — how you argue, withdraw, overwork, or self-protect — were formed by earlier relational experience, often outside conscious awareness. I also draw on literature; the way a well-drawn character reveals themselves slowly, often to their own surprise, mirrors how self-understanding actually unfolds in therapy.
Rather than staying purely in the past, we bring that understanding into the present — noticing how old patterns show up in a hard conversation, a recurring conflict, or a feeling you can't quite name — and building the capacity to respond with more awareness and less reactivity. The goal isn't insight for its own sake, but change you can actually feel in daily life.
Welcome! I provide a safe space for those who are experiencing negative thoughts and feelings that impact their daily lives as well as their relationships with partners, family, friends, colleagues, and peers. After years of working as a social worker in hospice care and retirement communities, I have developed a passion for working with adults of all ages understand their internal and external responses to a variety of factors including life transitions, loss of loved ones, caregiver stress, family conflict, and unprocessed trauma.
Hi, I'm ready to jump in with you to help you let go of old stuff that is holding you back. Using proven strategies of EMDR, CBT/CPT, and mindfulness-based interventions through Tele-health. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker , I am a licensed in Delaware and Pennsylvania. As a Certified EMDR therapist and Approved Consultant I've seen how EMDR is highly effective in treating PTSD, anxiety disorders, depression and more. I have over 17 years’ experience providing this treatment to my clients. I see therapy as a collaborative process, while I may be the navigator, you are in the driver’s seat. I serve as your coach to help you reach your therapeutic goals. We go at your pace and address the issues you identify. Clients say their response to treatment has been transformative and lasting. My approach is attachment, diversity and trauma informed.
My name is Cindy Kropp. I am a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in providing compassionate, trauma-informed, mental health care for individuals seeking a more balanced and emotionally healthy way of living.
I am trained to provide individual therapy for older teens, young adults and seniors trying to navigate through their own stressors and discomfort related to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life transitions and alcohol misuse and abuse.
Utilizing a strength-based and relational approach, and with a trauma-informed lens, a solid and client centered foundation is built between the client and I as the therapeutic process unfolds. From there, I work collaboratively with individuals to set goals while also exploring her/his own thoughts and feelings as related to the challenges and struggles in their own lives.
This work is achieved through the integration of cognitive behavioral therapy strategies, narrative therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques. As we work through this therapeutic process together, clients are able to identify how their own hopes and dreams of living a more peaceful, happy and abundant life can become a reality.
I believe all individuals have worth and value and need to have an opportunity to make life what they have always imagined!
I believe everyone is on their own unique path, and sometimes that path can feel stressful or overwhelming. My goal is to support your growth and empower you with the tools and confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.
Building a genuine connection with clients is at the heart of my work. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Therapy with me is a collaborative process, and I tailor my approach to your needs by drawing from person-centered and strengths-based approaches as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
I have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and self-esteem challenges. No matter where you are in your journey, I will meet you there—and walk alongside you as you move toward healing and growth.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with eight years of experience working with a variety of populations. I'm passionate about helping clients improve their sense of self-esteem and overcome past trauma. In terms of personal interests, I enjoy creating art, reading, and being creative all around. I try to incorporate these interests and inspire others within the therapeutic process.
I have worked as a therapist for several decades in my own private practice in Southeastern Pennsylvania. I focused on working with individuals and families of all ages during my tenure as a therapist. My recent Telehealth focus has been working with the military, retired and active duty, and their families, who are facing trauma, loss, transitions, anxiety issues, parenting and marital issues.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who values creating a supportive, respectful space where clients feel heard and understood. I approach therapy with empathy, curiosity, and a practical mindset, helping individuals explore challenges while building effective coping strategies. My work focuses on collaboration, insight, and meaningful change. I believe therapy should empower clients with tools and perspective that help them navigate stress, emotional difficulties, and life transitions with greater confidence and resilience.
For many years, I worked as a retail manager, where I gained valuable insight into human behavior, conflict resolution, and the importance of mentoring others through life's challenges. Those experiences taught me that every person has a unique story, and with the right support and perspective, they can discover the strength and wisdom they already possess. I approach each person with honesty, compassion, an open mind, and a willingness to think outside the box. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, I believe in helping people uncover the answers that align with their own journey, empowering them to recognize their strengths and make meaningful connections that foster growth and healing. My role is to walk alongside you as you navigate life's questions and challenges. Drawing from both my professional background and my own lived experiences, I strive to provide guidance, encouragement, and a safe space where you can gain clarity, build confidence, and move forward with purpose.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and have worked as a therapist treating adults in individual and group therapy for 4 years. I specialize in anxiety, grief, and trauma. My approach includes therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Prolonged Exposure, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narriative Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. I'm always looking to expand my approach to best support my clients. My experience has been with community mental heath, two CIRC programs, and providing short term grief therapy at the Medical Examiner's office. Each of these have provided me with greater understanding of the system of care of Philadelphia and the reality of navigating it especially when resources can be nonexistent for housing or other basic needs. My specialities in grief and trauma are two sides of the same coin - intense loss can be traumatic. This philosophy is central to how I approach supporting clients in their journey. Both need to be address to help the healing really start.

I go by "Zippy." As a Behavioral Health Consultant, I am dedicated to providing culturally grounded and trauma-informed care to individuals and families facing complex life challenges. Born and raised in Kenya, I bring a unique perspective shaped by experiences in both Kenya and the United States, allowing me to bridge cultural gaps in mental health services. I believe mental health care must honor the cultural identities and lived experiences of those we serve, as these elements are pivotal in shaping one’s mental well-being.
With over a decade of experience across child and adult mental health, community-based social work, and integrated behavioral health within a Federally Qualified Health Center, I empower clients facing trauma, intimate partner violence, migration stress, and socioeconomic barriers, showcasing the resilience of the human spirit.
As a bilingual English/Swahili clinician and certified medical interpreter, I've worked closely with refugee and immigrant families from Sub-Saharan Africa, recognizing the impact of language and cultural familiarity in therapy. My experiences with pregnant women, survivors of sexual assault, and individuals under acute psychosocial stress reinforce my commitment to relationally focused, culturally attuned care.
I actively engage in community leadership, having served on Millersville University’s School of Social Work advisory board and volunteering with Grape Leaf Empowerment Center. Currently, I am pursuing a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy to enhance my ability to address complex relational dynamics affecting mental health. My goal is to become a systemic therapist integrating cultural context and evidence-based practices, promoting a model of care that is compassionate, culturally responsive, and honors the diverse narratives that shape healing as a shared journey.
I have a variety of experience working with anxiety, depression, parents and children, as well as young adults. I utilize the most appropriate method of treatment to you during the session, with empathy and understanding. I look at the “whole person” and not just the presenting issue that brought you to consider making a positive change and help challenge you to meet your goals!

This could have been from addiction, mental health, abuse, neglect, anger, poverty, foster care placement, religious trauma or anything that caused some form of trauma. My name is Dr. Arnold Tilden and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Early on, we will set goals for our counseling and regularly check our progress. We work as partners in reaching our goals. My approach, although eclectic, is influenced by Albert Ellis and his Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy or REBT. The central concept is that our thinking (Rational) influences our emotions (Emotive), which drives or behavior.
Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? As a therapist I enjoy helping individuals explore past relationship patterns, establish healthy boundaries, grow in self-esteem, and learn to relate to others differently. Hello! I was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania and have spent the past ten years providing mental health support in outpatient, school, and community settings. My experience includes working as a Behavior Specialist, outpatient therapist and family therapist, supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate a range of emotional and relational challenges. I have a systemic approach using relational and attachment-based theories.
I am in drug addiction recovery and have been sober for 18 years. Started as a counselor assistant about 16 years ago, gained many years of experience working with many different clients' challenges and various cultures. I come from a non-judgmental perspective as I understand the importance of clients feeling safe in session. I absolutely love doing this kind of work.
Hi I am Jack Cottom a licensed professional counselor. I have been practicing psychotherapy for the past 15 years. I identify as a Black American gay male of African descent which gives me a certain perspective and experience of the world. I have a lot of experience working with folks who share my gender, ethnic, and racial make up as well as experience working with folks from many different demographics. I am open to working with anyone who is vested in healing and working through personal issues.
I believe counseling is hugely powerful because through the relationship you are able to gain some awareness about yourself, learn some skills, and implement those skills to live the life that you ultimately want to live.
My goal in my practice is to assist you with addressing the 'thing' that has you stuck in a certain place whether is a way of thinking and/or behaving, trauma , or lack of knowledge and/or skill. Again, my goal is to get you up, moving, and operating at your best levels AND most importantly feeling better!
For more than twenty years, I've sat with people at the edge of what they thought their lives could be — helping them break free from anxiety, depression, trauma, and the relationships and transitions that keep them circling the same painful ground. What I've learned in all those years is this: you are not broken. You are, more often than not, simply disconnected — from your own knowing, from what matters, from the quiet intelligence that has been trying to reach you all along.
My work weaves the science of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with the ancient wisdom of Vedanta and mindfulness — traditions that have mapped the human heart for millennia. Together, they offer more than symptom relief. They offer a homecoming.
But there is a deeper current running beneath everything I do. My private practice includes shamanic work, animal communication, and soul-level intuitive channeling — ways of listening that reach beyond words, beyond technique, into the territory where real transformation lives. Clients often tell me they feel seen in a way they've never experienced: not just heard, but known.
This is not therapy as maintenance. This is therapy as awakening.
When you work with me, you get a guide who is fully present, deeply attuned, and grounded in something far older and larger than any single method — someone who trusts that your life is trying to become something, and knows how to help it get there.
Ready to stop coping and start living?
Let's talk.
Clients often tell me they’ve never had a therapist quite like me. Many of my clients have tried therapy before but felt it was mainly surface-level venting. Sessions with me are far more than that. My style is active, collaborative, and grounded in honest conversation. I won’t simply nod along or repeat what you’ve already told me. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, challenge what isn’t working, and help you make sense of your experiences in a way that leads to meaningful change.
I include humor in our sessions when it feels right. Therapy can be meaningful without being stiff or overly clinical. Some conversations will be deep and challenging, while others might include humor or a different perspective. You don’t have to hold back here. You can be blunt, emotional, messy, or even make a sarcastic joke during tough discussions. I’m not looking for perfection. I’m looking for honesty and a willingness to move forward.
Understanding your diagnosis or past experiences is part of therapy, but it’s not everything. Some struggles come from trauma, mental health, or life experiences, while others are simply part of being human. We all face relationships, stress, loss, uncertainty, and change. Rather than focusing only on a diagnosis or label, we’ll look at the full picture of your life and find meaningful ways to move forward.
This work is a good fit if you are open to new ideas, willing to be challenged, and ready to apply what we discuss between sessions. I’ll provide practical tools, but therapy isn’t about quick fixes. Gaining insight is valuable, but insight alone doesn’t create change. Sometimes the work is learning to manage discomfort rather than eliminate it. Together, we’ll understand what keeps you stuck and learn to respond differently over time.
Hello and welcome to my practice! I am a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Master's from California University of Pennsylvania and have been in the mental health field for over 30 years. I worked as a family therapist for approximately 12 years and have been providing individual therapy for the past 4 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, and depression to become the best versions of themselves.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 17 years of experience. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I take pride in my ability to quickly build rapport with my clients. I work to guide my clients to get to the core of what is causing their distress. I will provide a "safe space" where my clients feel free to be themselves free of judgment. I will be my client's biggest advocate and will guide them to the answers within.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from the California University of PA now called PennWest and have been practicing for 14 years. i have worked in many different aspects of the mental field which has given me a great deal of experience to be a helper. I enjoy helping people in their time of need and to become the best versions of themselves.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College and 30 years of experience across diverse settings. My preferred therapeutic approaches include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am open-minded and respectful, believing that everyone is doing their best within their unique circumstances. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges.
I have an LPC and an LMFT and have been seeing clients since 1996. I have extensive training in helping people who are going through or have experienced narcissistic abuse and any form of childhood trauma, this includes verbal and emotional abuse, family addictions, or any early childhood experience that would cause one to feel unsafe. I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety, worry and mood concerns and work with addictions, obsessive compulsive behaviors and any poor coping skills or core beliefs that were developed in order to manage these stressors. I use practices primarily focused on somatic and cognitive therapy but also utilize acceptance commitment therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness and am solution focused. I use homework and assignments aimed at regulating the nervous system in order to repair the fight/flight/freeze response that is often stuck on due to a continuous history of a variety of life stressors (trauma). This trapped and stored trauma continues to trigger the nervous system to respond in ways where we continue to feel unsafe, even after the threats have passed. By working with the nervous system to release this trapped trauma and find safety, we can then have the opportunity to respond to the world differently.
My name is Brandi. I provide a relaxed environment that I was told by current clients I currently serve, and help making therapy comfortable. I am very creative in terms of interventions and talking points individualizing how I work with each client. As you will see, I specialize in multiple diagnoses and symptoms. I have been working in this field for over 20 years and tailor conversations to each individual as each client has different preferred approaches, such as wanting to be challenged as well as a softer approach; I assess each client's preference when we first meet.
I am a veteran of the helping professions, having served since 1982 in some capacity or another, and I still find excitement in the possibility of helping those who need such assistance. I am currently licensed in two states, both North Carolina and Pennsylvania. I find many people respond to my ability to simply listen and that shows that they do not often feel they have been heard and sometimes this is all that is necessary to start the journey to begin healing. Certainly more is often required, and helping people connect with effective treatments whether provided by myself or not is the best help that can be given.
I am a Licensed Psychologist who earned a doctorate in clinical psychology from the City University of New York completing my internship training at NYU Bellevue Hospital. I began my career as a certified school psychologist in the early 1980s and have been a licensed psychologist
since 1995. I have treated a diverse population
trained many therapists and psychologists. I believe in the each persons drive toward positive mental health. I am strength based in my treatment approach, building on the client resiliency.
Deeply passionate about social justice and facilitating and guiding positive change and development in the lives of others, I am thrilled to connect with you as you begin your journey inward. Healing is truly the risk of showing up for yourself and your resistance to the temptation to go back to unsilenced needs, numbing out, disconnection, and erasure. As a Black, queer, non-binary, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work, and Certified Sexuality Educator (CSE) with over 15 years of wide-ranging interdisciplinary experience in healing-centered and trauma-informed clinical practice, research, education, and servant leadership, I look forward to tailoring my approach to meet your needs and help you reach your goals.
I’m a warm, compassionate, trauma-informed therapist who works with women and adults navigating anxiety, loneliness, self-worth, relationship and family challenges, and major life transitions. Before transitioning into clinical practice, I worked within organizations helping employees navigate workplace stress and the broader life issues that often accompany it. My own life transition during that time deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support, and I now draw on those transferable skills alongside my academic and work experiences as a master's in social work and doctorate in organizational behavior professional. I bring a compassionate, integrative, and culturally responsive approach that meets each client where they are, helping you build meaningful coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and move toward sustainable change.
