Hello Thank you for sharing information about yourself. I'm so happy that you reached out for help. I am William "Bill" Mcleod. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and National Certified Addiction Counselor with a master’s degree in clinical psychology. For more than two decades, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adults across the lifespan, including young adults and older adults as they navigate life’s emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. My therapeutic approach is trauma informed and tailored to each person’s unique needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, and I can integrate faith based psychotherapy when a client requests it. I consider myself a practical and collaborative therapist, and I work to create a safe, compassionate environment where people can explore their stories with honesty, courage, and hope. I draw on insight, humor, and empathy to help clients work through feelings of isolation, shame, anxiety, and uncertainty while building resilience, purpose, and emotional clarity. I have extensive experience supporting individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, anger, and substance use disorders, as well as those navigating major life transitions. I also have a deep commitment to men and women's mental health, workplace stress, blended family dynamics, attachment concerns, and recovery from relational wounds or sexual assault. In my work with older adults, I help individuals and families navigate aging, cognitive changes, memory concerns, and shifting roles with dignity and compassion. At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: every person has strengths, gifts, and the capacity for healing. My role is to walk alongside you, honor your story, and support your movement toward greater wholeness and a more meaningful, satisfying life.,

As a former football coach, I have developed an approach to therapy that will allow me to utilize coaching concepts to address the needs of my clients. It encompasses a direct approach to address problems with the a level of understanding and empathy that will support a change in behavior. This works well with my CBT background. Therefore I have branded myself as The Therapy Coach. Which means that I am more than just a therapist to my clients.

In my 18 years of work with clients, I have worked with severely mentally ill populations, the addicted (both inpatient and outpatient settings), grief stricken, trauma affected and those just wanting an improved emotional life. We all have life challenges at some point in our lives, whether at a point of transition or loss, but sometimes just desiring greater self-reflection. I love helping to facilitate adaptations or change.

My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well. I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons. With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia. I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

I know how easy it is to become the person everyone depends on while quietly carrying stress, pressure, anxiety, or emotional pain underneath the surface. Many of the clients I work with are high functioning professionals, caregivers, parents, and leaders who are used to pushing through life while putting their own emotional needs on the back burner. Over time, that emotional weight can start showing up in relationships, work, sleep, mood, self esteem, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you no longer feel like you have to hold everything together alone. I specialize in EMDR therapy and work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is warm, grounded, and direct. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation with someone who is present, engaged, and genuinely invested in helping you heal and grow. Together, we will explore not only what is happening in the present, but also how past experiences may still be shaping the way you think, feel, react, and connect with others today. EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity connected to painful experiences so you can move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and peace. With over 16 years of experience in mental health and substance use recovery, I am passionate about helping people move out of survival mode and feel more emotionally connected, balanced, and like themselves again. I provide virtual therapy to clients in Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.

I have 25 years of experience working with all age groups, couples, family, adolescents, elderly and all races where I utilize CBT as a base and add other modalities as needed. I believe each person is an individual that cannot be put into a 'fits all' box. I believe a commitment with patience over time can lead to significant growth and understanding of oneself. Mindfulness, Carl Jung's Shadow Work as well as Negative Core Beliefs can lead to changes that offer a completely new way of living and thriving. I also have experience with the LGBT+ community. A therapist in my experience adds a level of effectiveness having done therapy ourselves and I have put a lot of time and effort on the other side of the therapeutic relationship. It has allowed me a strong level of empathy and understanding of what clients go through when in therapy. Substance Abuse is an area I also have experience with.

Relationships can become painful when communication breaks down, conflict keeps repeating, trust feels fragile, or emotional distance grows. I help couples and individuals work through marriage concerns, relationship stress, repeated arguments, emotional triggers, intimacy difficulties, attachment wounds, infidelity, betrayal, and broken trust. My approach is compassionate, practical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and faith-sensitive when desired. I help clients identify the patterns that keep them stuck and develop healthier ways to communicate, understand one another, manage conflict, rebuild trust, and create stronger emotional connection. For couples affected by infidelity or betrayal, I provide a structured space to address the impact of the betrayal, understand triggers, improve transparency and accountability, and begin rebuilding safety and trust. I also work with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, pornography-related concerns, emotional distress, and relationship challenges. Therapy may focus on understanding emotional patterns, improving coping skills, strengthening boundaries, increasing self-awareness, and developing healthier relationships with yourself and others. I have completed Levels 1 and 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which informs my work with communication, conflict, friendship, intimacy, trust, and relationship repair. I integrate evidence-based interventions with sensitivity to each client’s culture, values, family background, and spiritual beliefs. Whether you are feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, betrayed, stuck in the same arguments, or uncertain about the future of your relationship, therapy can provide a structured place to slow down, understand what is happening, and work toward meaningful change. My goal is to help clients move from confusion and repeated patterns toward greater clarity, connection, emotional safety, and healthier relationships.

Hi, I’m Ben Addison, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 13 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia and have provided care across outpatient behavioral health, private practice, hospitals, emergency departments, and trauma-focused settings. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief, relationship difficulties, substance use concerns, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents, including young people who have experienced complex trauma, abuse, behavioral challenges, and involvement with the legal or child welfare systems. I also have experience supporting survivors of sexual trauma and individuals navigating difficult or high-stress life experiences. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a place where you—or your child—can feel safe, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I work with each client to understand what they are experiencing, recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful changes that carry into everyday life. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself or looking for support for your child or teenager, we will work together to identify what matters most and develop a path forward that feels realistic and achievable.

I have lived a long and colorful life. Like everyone else, I've made good and bad choices and learned from each. I have 22+ years experience in the mental health and substance abuse treatment field. I DO NOT JUDGE, AT ALL, PERIOD. I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My role is to offer another perspective, a way to see life more fully and function better, no more, no less. I don't pretend to have all the answers but only one slice of wisdom. I just share what can help someone. Some people are not yet ready to be helped. Yet for those who are feeling lost on life's journey and are willing to listen and learn, I'm here to assist. My life work can be summed up in three words, "offering people hope. " "The wound is where the light enters." - Jeladdin Rumi "A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once." Martin Luther King Jr. "Wouldn't take nothin' for my journey now." - Maya Angelou "The past is gone, and there is left only a blessing." - Kahlil Gibran "Be true to yourself, and you will be false to no one else." - William Shakespeare "How very lucky are we, for just a moment to be, part of life's eternal rhyme." My journey to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor was shaped by a deep desire to support others through life’s challenges—especially during times when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or alone. Like many people, I’ve experienced how difficult it can be to navigate personal struggles without the right support system, and I’ve always been drawn to helping others find clarity, purpose, and hope during those moments. Over time, I realized that being a counselor would allow me to not only listen and empathize, but to walk alongside people as they identify their goals and uncover their inner strengths. What drives me every day is the opportunity to be part of someone’s growth—to offer a space where they feel truly heard and supported, and to help them discover that change is possible, even when it feels out of reach.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida. I'm experienced working with individuals, groups, couples and families. When working with an individual, couple or family I assess and addresses the entire family history, the sum of its parts, and not simply the individuals that comprise it. The distress or problem that originated may not solely be within an individual but a natural reaction to a family dynamic that creates the distress. By using Family Systems Theory I'm able to help the Client have a deeper awareness of their personal conflicts, how to resolve them, and live a more fulfilling life without addictions. I have a Bachelor’s from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. My practice focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where we address challenges such as trauma, stress, and life transitions while developing tools for lasting emotional wellness. I believe in meeting clients where they are and walking with them toward the healthier, more fulfilling life they deserve. My approach to treatment is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique journey. I use evidence-based practices—such as cognitive-behavioral techniques, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused strategies—while also focusing on building trust and creating a safe space for open conversation. My ideal clients are individuals and families who may feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges—whether it’s coping with trauma, navigating stress, managing anxiety or depression, or working through difficult transitions. I also work closely with young people who are learning to find their voice and build resilience in the face of adversity.

I earned my PhD in Clinical Social Work and Supervision from Walden University in 2026. I earned my Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2008, after completing my Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology in 2004. My academic journey also includes two years at Florida State University and an Addictions Certificate from the University of Michigan, which I received in 2015. After graduating, I returned to my hometown of Detroit, Michigan, where I became licensed and began practicing as a social worker. Throughout my career, I have worked as a therapist, crisis manager, and adjunct professor; roles that have allowed me to develop a well-rounded, real-world understanding of the issues people face in everyday life. My work has been guided by a strong commitment to strengthening both interpersonal and intrapersonal awareness as a pathway to meaningful change. I believe that growth happens when individuals feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life’s complexities. Through my work with individuals and families across the lifespan, I strive to approach each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect, supporting emotional, mental, and physical well-being at every stage of human development.
