I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and 25 years ago I moved to Florida where I currently reside. I graduated in 2005 from Florida International University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. At the present time, I hold 9 state licenses that allows me to to provide Tele-health counseling in other states besides Florida; Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Missouri, Utah and Michigan, Massachusetts. I am also bilingual (English and Spanish) and I have more than 20 years of experience in the mental health and social services arena.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10+ years experience. I obtained a Masters in Social Work from The Ohio State University and specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy to treat symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, low self worth, past trauma and PTSD. Clients will gain new coping skills to challenge negative thinking patterns and learn how to adjust reactionary trauma coping styles. I value honest direct discussions in the therapeutic relationship and look forward to working with you.
