I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing a grounded, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to explore what they’re carrying and move toward meaningful change. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based practices like CBT and Brainspotting while honoring the connection between mind and body. Having lived abroad, I’ve had the opportunity to experience many cultures and walks of life, which deeply informs my perspective and allows me to meet clients with openness, curiosity, and cultural humility. I am also completing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) next month, further strengthening my commitment to thoughtful, evidence-based, and meaningful care. I work with clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of past experiences. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and at your pace—where you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. My goal is to help you build insight, strengthen coping, and reconnect with yourself and your relationships in a way that feels more clear, steady, and aligned.

With more than two decades of experience, I've been privileged to work in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, domestic violence shelters, juvenile justice, forensic facilities & child advocacy centers. I am currently licensed in AK, DE, FL, GA, ID, NH, SC, UT and VT. I hold a M.Ed and an Ed.S in counseling and I am also a a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). One of the most rewarding aspects of my work was partnering with local law enforcement & district attorneys as an expert witness in trauma & abuse cases, conducting 300+ forensic interviews across metro Atlanta. I served as an Executive Board Member on the State of GA Sexual Offender Registration Review Board for 10+ years & conducted workshops on a range of topics, including relationships, parenting, stress management & child abuse. I help countless people "figure it out". Whether you're battling anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or struggling with relationships, I believe you are the expert of your life. Together we'll work towards finding solutions to the problems that are holding you back, so you can focus on living your best life.

You're exhausted, wondering if anyone is going to reach your teenage son with ADHD. I was that kid and found my way through. Your son is struggling the same way I did. ADHD, too much homework, too little interest, too many people telling him to just try harder. I didn't get real support until the end of high school. Treatment changed the trajectory of my life. I went from community college to the University of Florida, then to a Master of Social Work from Florida State. My bachelor's was in Education Sciences with a specialization in Educational Psychology, which means I understand how ADHD plays out in a classroom, where so much of your son's pain probably lives. School is hard enough for these kids already, which is why I see clients in the evenings and on weekends. Therapy shouldn't add to what school is already taking from him.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship challenges, isolation, and those times when you simply feel stuck or disconnected from the life you want to be living. I especially enjoy working with people who are used to carrying a lot of responsibility, pushing through difficult situations, or being the person others depend on. I see therapy as a team effort. My approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and practical, with plenty of room for both honest conversations and humor. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your life, build on the strengths you already have, and identify meaningful, realistic steps toward where you want to go. You bring your experiences, values, and goals to the team; I bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, support, and a willingness to roll up my sleeves and do the work alongside you.

Frequently asked questions

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across the entire state. If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near your address.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
