New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Nevada, North Carolina and Alaska. I have 13 years of experience working in mental health. I value putting the patient first, and I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy, dignity and compassion. I seek to educate patients and their loved ones on mental health and alleviate any stigmatizing labels associated with mental health treatment.
It takes courage to seek help with improving your emotional well being and mental health. Together we can work towards achieving a more fulfilling and happier quality of life, and becoming the best version of yourself. My desire is to provide you with all the tools necessary to empower you in achieving your goals.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical, existential and compassion focused therapy, with a focus on mindful body and emotion awareness, mindful self-compassion and radical acceptance. I believe in a person/client centered approach, which focuses on tailoring my approach based on the unique, and individual needs of each patient.
My ideal client is an adult who is ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma or PTSD, overwhelming emotions, self-criticism, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whether they are navigating the impact of past experiences, major life transitions, relationship challenges, or chronic stress, they are seeking a safe, supportive space to heal and grow.

I identify as
Compassion Focused
Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) is an approach that helps people develop a kinder, more understanding relationship with themselves. It is especially helpful for those who struggle with self-criticism, shame, anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma. In simple terms, CFT teaches that many of our emotional struggles are not caused by personal weakness, but by how our brains have learned to respond to stress, difficult experiences, or past relationships. Therapy focuses on helping clients notice their inner critic, respond to themselves with greater compassion, and build a sense of emotional safety and resilience.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is based on the idea that we all have different "parts" of ourselves that developed to help us cope with life's experiences. For example, one part may be highly self-critical, another may try to avoid difficult emotions, while another may feel hurt or vulnerable. Rather than trying to get rid of these parts, IFS helps you understand them with curiosity and compassion, so they can work together in healthier ways. This process can help heal emotional wounds, reduce inner conflict, and create a greater sense of calm, confidence, and self-understanding.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps people better understand, express, and respond to their emotions in healthy ways. Many of our emotions are connected to important needs, relationships, and past experiences. In therapy, you'll learn to identify emotional patterns, understand what your feelings are communicating, and respond to them with greater awareness and compassion. As clients become more connected to their emotions, they often experience greater emotional balance, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self.
