I am a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions. I take a patient-centered approach, combining medication management with supportive and evidence-based therapy. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. I work collaboratively with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that helps you regain balance, improve your well-being, and feel more in control of your life
In our first session, we will take time to understand your concerns, symptoms, and personal history in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. I will ask questions to better understand what you’re going through and how it is affecting your daily life. Together, we will discuss possible treatment options, including therapy and, if appropriate, medication. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, heard, and supported while we create a plan tailored to your needs.
My greatest strength is my ability to truly listen and connect with my clients. I create a safe and supportive space where individuals feel comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment. I am skilled at identifying underlying concerns and developing practical, personalized treatment plans. I combine empathy with clinical expertise to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their mental health journey.
I work best with adults and young professionals who are motivated to improve their mental health and overall quality of life. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, or stress related to life transitions, relationships, or career challenges. I also support individuals who feel overwhelmed, struggle with focus or organization, or are trying to better understand themselves and their emotional patterns. My ideal clients are open to a collaborative approach that combines medication management with practical coping strategies. They may have tried to manage things on their own but are now ready for structured support, clarity, and guidance. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who are insightful, goal-oriented, and willing to engage in the process of change, even if things feel difficult. Together, we focus on symptom stabilization, improving daily functioning, and building sustainable habits that support long-term mental wellness.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify negative or unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. I guide clients in developing practical coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional challenges. My approach is supportive, structured, and goal-oriented, helping clients build long-term tools to improve their daily functioning and overall well-being. I also incorporate mindfulness techniques, coping strategies, and medication management when appropriate to provide a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan.
