Hi, I'm Bethany, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in NC. I earned my Masters in 2011 and have been doing therapy for 10 years. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, the focus is on getting to know you and understanding your unique background. This includes an assessment of your personal history, current symptoms, and any challenges you're facing. It's a time to gather important information about your life, so we can develop a clear picture of what you're dealing with. Beyond that, the session will also be about building rapport and establishing a safe, comfortable space for our work together. We'll collaborate to set treatment goals that are meaningful to you, which will guide the direction of our sessions moving forward.
