Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will take time to get to know one another, which will consist of introductions. I will ask various questions, to get to know you better. We will also go over things like Informed Consent, confidentiality etc. We'll discuss what brought you to seek therapeutic services. I believe it's important to begin to build rapport with the client from the beginning.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths that I hold include that I'm empathetic, patient, a great listener, a great rapport builder and I make sure to always offer a safe and nonjudgmental space for any individual that I work with. Last but not least, I have a positive attitude and I strive to always be a positive outlet to others in need.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who genuinely wants support navigating through various life stressors.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a wonderful theoretical model that I enjoy using when explaining the importance of how our thoughts have an impact on our emotions and our behaviors/actions. We will work on identifying those negative or irrational thoughts and replacing the thoughts with more rational and positive thinking. With practice, improvements will be found in the way we think, feel and react!
