New to Grow
I am a seasoned therapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and specialize complex family systems. I was born in Chile and immigrated to California over 40 years ago. I value authenticity, resilience and diversity and love working with individuals who want to work on personal growth. Life is hard and therapy should not be. Together we can work towards goals that will add joy to your life.
In our first session we will talk about brings you to therapy, what your goals and expectations are and how we can make this experience comfortable for you. I will also go over limits of confidentiality, how I manage documentation of your records and discuss structure of therapy.
I believe in a client centered approach to therapy that is fostered in patience, resiliency and respect. I believe in letting the process unfold in your time and not pushing for results.
As a therapist with over 20 years of experience I am comfortable treating all ages and individuals in different stages of life. I am a mindful therapist who has a positive mindset and believe that everyone can change as long as there is a willingness. Forcing change is never ideal and I believe in being respectful of everyone's unique process and timelines.

I believe that attachment shapes how we view the world and how we interact with ourselves and others. No matter how we were raised in our systems of origin; we have the ability to move forward in our recovery journey by making healthier choices that will foster a better quality of life.
I believe in solutions and mapping out goals that will lead to successful outcomes. A lot of us don't have time for therapy and need action oriented movement that is intentional and effective.
