New to Grow
I’m a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of experience in the field, grounded in a deep commitment to community, connection, and culturally responsive care. I love to read, continue learning, and spend meaningful time with my family, especially when it involves sharing a good meal with the people I love. These moments of presence and togetherness keep me grounded and inform how I show up in my work. I have spent most of my career working with adolescents, while also supporting young adults and couples across different stages of life. My practice has been shaped by work in schools, clinics, hospitals, community organizations, and through community organizing. Across all of these spaces, my focus has remained the same: creating environments rooted in safety, compassion, and respect. As a therapist, I strive to offer a calm, non-judgmental, and affirming space where clients can honor their experiences, reclaim their stories, and engage in healing that feels personal, meaningful, and deeply connected to their culture and community.
In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at your pace, and you get to decide what feels comfortable to talk about. I truly believe therapy is about finding the person you feel comfortable with, so this first session is just as much an opportunity for you to feel me out as it is for me to get to know you. It’s important that you feel safe, respected, and supported in this space. We’ll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any concerns or questions you may have. I’ll also explain how I work, review confidentiality, and make sure you understand what therapy with me can look like. You can expect to be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, grounded, and with a sense that this is a space that can be shaped around your needs, strengths, and goals.
My strength is my ability to create a calm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported as their full selves. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy; my work is guided by who you are and what you need in each moment. I tailor my approach so that our work together feels aligned, respectful, and meaningful for you.
I am best positioned to serve Latinas, adolescents, and individuals who are seeking a culturally grounded and affirming therapeutic space. I work especially well with clients who want to honor their cultural identity while also creating space for healing, growth, and self-exploration. I support clients who experience anxiety, intrusive thoughts, emotional overwhelm, stress, and the impact of trauma. Many of the people I work with are navigating identity, family dynamics, generational expectations, or major life transitions, and are looking for tools to calm their nervous system, better understand their inner world, and build coping strategies that feel realistic and culturally aligned. I am well suited for clients who value a non-judgmental, collaborative approach and who want therapy to feel personalized rather than one-size-fits-all. Whether you are an adolescent finding your voice or an adult learning to balance culture, family, and self, I offer a space that is grounded in compassion, cultural responsiveness, and respect for your resilience.
