I employ a style of counseling utilizing evidence-based practice, such as motivational interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy complemented by Emotional Focused Therapy. Likewise, I look at strengths-based approaches, assisting clients in recognizing personal assets and resources necessary for change. In our first session, my main priority is to get to know you and understand your unique experiences and concerns. We'll discuss the reasons that brought you here, your goals for therapy, and any specific challenges you're facing. It's a safe space for you to share as much or as little as you're comfortable with. I'll likely ask about your current life circumstances, and explore any patterns of thought or behavior that may be affecting your well-being. It's a collaborative process, so feel free to ask questions, express your expectations, or let me know if there's something specific you'd like to focus on.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I adapt a blend of diverse methods tailored to the individual. Recognizing the multidimensional nature of each client, my approach is about customizing the tools to suit them, rather than expecting them to conform to a specific method. From homework assignments and journaling to imagery, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), I draw from a toolkit designed to meet the unique needs of each person.
