Hi there, I'm Laura. I am a licensed professional counselor and I want to work with you to decrease symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health difficulties by using evidence-based treatment. Together, we can determine what works best for you to get back into balance and thriving. I am a cognitive behavior therapist who is very person-centered, but I approach therapy from a holistic approach addressing the needs of the body and mind. I want to help you work through your relationship issues, decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety, work through trauma, and empower you to begin healing. I create a warm, safe environment to help you heal and grow. I look forward to working with you and helping you on your healing journey.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My clients and I collaborate to rebuild self-worth and self-care by examining current patterns of behavior and their root causes. We then create goals to encourage accountability and change. All progress is celebrated!

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

My primary treatment modality is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) along with an Eclectic and Person-Centered Approach with a dollop of spiritual intuition. I am a firm believer in honesty and encouraging clients that to see real change, you have to be willing to face and work through the hard stuff.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I've gained experience throughout my life and have gained an understanding of many populations and the difficulties they face. I have experience working with clients who suffer from Anxiety, Depression, Childhood Trauma, Domestic Violence, Trauma, Grief, Stress Management, Parenting Difficulties, and Behavior Modification.
