My name is Dr. Diana Huang and I am a licensed clinical psychologist here to best support you on your journey. I believe in therapy being a partnership and that the foundation for growth is a strong sense of self. I am here to help you discover, (re)connect, and find meaning & value within yourself. My approach is strength-based, and I push my clients to learn tangible skills for real life situations and explore different perspectives for a healthier mindset.
Initial intake sessions are around 45 minutes, and will allow us time to get a feel for each other. I will gain a better sense of what you are looking for and triaging your needs, while you get a sense of who I am and how I approach sessions. We will discuss goals, timeline, and I will answer any questions you may have.
I believe in positive psychology which means I view my clients as a whole person rather than the "parts" of their struggles. As an observer and supporter, I aim to create space in our sessions for you to be your most authentic self - whether it's to celebrate growth and victories, or sharing your true thoughts and feelings with a non-judgmental third party, I am here to meet you where you are.
I enjoy working with young adults to older adults who are looking for change - even if you don't quite know yet what that even means. You are the captain of your life, and I will help you explore and learn applicable skills that can be adapted to any situation and circumstance.
