Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania with 8 years of professional work experience. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings as well as working as a clinical supervisor. I specialized in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal relationship issues, and unexpected life changes. It takes courage to ask for help and while it might be uncomfortable, you have taken the first step. I am here to support you in your new stage.
In our first therapy session, we'll take time to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, and goals for therapy. This session is a space for you to share at your own pace, and together we'll create a plan tailored to your needs and comfort level.
My greatest strengths as a provider include my ability to build strong trusting relationships, my adaptability to meet clients where they are, and my deep commitment to culturally responsive, evidence-based care. I offer a calm, empathic presence and create a safe, supportive space that empowers clients to explore challenges and make meaningful change.
I enjoy supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life transitions and are ready to explore meaningful change. My clients are eager to improve in a supportive and non-judgmental space, but don't yet have the skills needed to achieve their desire goals. My purpose is to walk with clients during moments of change and challenges by helping them gain control of their emotions and life to face difficulties with confidence.
During therapy sessions, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. Through structured sessions, we work together to develop practical coping strategies and set achievable goals, empowering clients to manage symptoms and improve their overall well-being.
During therapy sessions, I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to support clients in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and building distress tolerance. I integrate DBT skills such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients find balance and create lasting change.
During therapy sessions, I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore and resolve ambivalence about change. By fostering a non-judgmental and collaborative environment, I support clients in identifying their own motivations and building confidence to make meaningful progress towards their goals.
During therapy sessions, I use TF-CBT to help children, adolescents, and their caregivers process and heal from distressful experiences. This treatment method helps to reduce symptoms of PTSD, improve coping skills, and restore a sense of safety and empowerment.
