About me

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in helping individuals, families, and couples rewrite unhelpful narratives, reconnect with their strengths, and rediscover hope and happiness in their lives. To name a few, I use Narrative Therapy, CBT, and EMDR to support healing, clarity, and lasting change within yourself, in relationships, and in the community you prefer. Together, we’ll explore the feelings you’re experiencing, identify the barriers that are holding you back, and develop tools to help you cope with the challenges you’re facing. My work is rooted in self-empowerment through a client-centered, strength-based approach. I believe our past shapes our present, and by understanding your story, healing what’s unresolved, and planning intentionally for the future, you can move toward a more joyful, fulfilling, and authentic life. My goal is to provide a compassionate space where you can build confidence, process trauma, and create meaningful, sustainable change in the way that is healthy and works for you and what/who you hold dear.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we simply get to know each other. I’ll invite you to share what brings you in, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you hope to gain from therapy, and invite you to find and engage in joy at the pace that best fits you. My role is to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you feel truly seen and understood. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, begin identifying your goals, and talk through how we might work together moving forward. I’ll also share a bit about my approach and make sure you have room to ask any questions of your own. By the end of the session, my hope is that you feel supported, informed, and reassured that you’re not alone as we collaboratively partner toward the changes you want to make.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is one of balance of depth, authenticity, story telling, and humanity. I show up as myself—grounded, present, and real—because I believe healing happens in genuine connection. You will hopefully experience ease as we take moments to breathe, slow down, and check in with your body, and that laugh alongside the heavier feelings. All of you is welcome to heal! My work is deeply relational, meaning our therapeutic relationship becomes part of the healing process. I pay close attention to how you experience the world, how you experience yourself, and how we interact together. Using this foundation, combined with evidence-based methods, we uncover patterns, build insight, and create meaningful change. Clients feel both supported and challenged in the best way as the are able to be fully themselves while also growing into who they want to become.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I can support you if you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in cycles that no longer serve you, or disconnected from who you want to be. I work with you if you feel lost, unsure of your next steps, or frustrated that life isn’t moving in the direction you hoped. I also work closely with those, maybe like yourself, navigating rough or confusing relationships—whether with partners, family, or internally—and who are longing for clarity, stability, and emotional grounding. I’m here for clients who are ready to slow down, look inward, and make sense of what’s getting in the way of their well-being. Whether you’re seeking relief from anxious thoughts, hoping to reconnect with yourself, or wanting to create healthier patterns in your relationships, my goal is to help you move toward a more aligned, empowered, and fulfilling life.
