New to Grow
I’m Trisha Miller, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) who is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity and resilience. I work with adults facing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and co-occurring substance use concerns, offering a supportive and nonjudgmental space for partnership and growth in your healing journey. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices while remaining deeply person-centered, helping clients build practical tools for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting change. Through our work together, clients gain a stronger sense of balance, confidence, and the ability to move forward with intention and peace.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I will spend time getting to know you—what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to see change. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current concerns, and any patterns that may be impacting your well-being. Together, we’ll begin identifying clear, meaningful goals and talk about what support looks like for you in this process. By the end of the session, you’ll have a better sense of how we’ll work together and what next steps will look like.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What sets my approach apart is my ability to balance clinical expertise with a deeply person-centered, individualized style of care. As a licensed clinician with experience across diverse settings—including medical and community-based environments—I understand how mental health, physical health, and life stressors often intersect. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I tailor evidence-based strategies to fit each client’s needs, pace, and goals. Clients often find that our work together not only helps them feel understood, but also equips them with practical tools to improve emotional regulation, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with adults navigating anxiety, depression, and life stressors, (stress management) with a focus on women’s issues, including balance, adjustment challenges, self exploration, and emotional wellness. I also support those working toward sobriety maintenance, and sustained recovery. Together, we build insight, stability, and resilience while gaining insight into challenges and blindspots. Many clients find that they benefit from short term brief therapy while others desire longterm treatment for sustainability purposes.
