Hello, feeling sad, anxious, or having difficulty concentrating and focusing? I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner focused on delivering Client-Centered, Caring, Compassionate, and Dedicated Care. I can help you through this trying time if the symptoms impact your daily living. Sometimes we fall into a rut and can not pull ourselves out. I treat individuals ages 14 to 70. I have worked in psychiatry for over 15 yrs in inpatient and outpatient treatment. I have experience treating various diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar, and schizophrenia. It's essential to have someone experienced and patient. I love helping individuals get back to their baseline and further. Sometimes seeking treatment is challenging due to certain beliefs or not having enough time in the day due to a busy work schedule. That's why I have a flexible schedule so that the clients can seek treatment at the times that are most convenient for them.
Your first telehealth session is a safe, private space where we take time to understand what you’ve been going through and what kind of support you need. An initial psychiatric evaluation is the first step in creating a treatment plan that is personalized to you, your symptoms, your lifestyle, and your goals. During this visit, we will talk about what brought you in, how you’ve been feeling emotionally and mentally, and what challenges you’ve been facing day-to-day. We will also review important background information such as your mental health history, medical history, current medications, past treatment experiences, sleep patterns, stress levels, substance use (if relevant), and any major life events that may be affecting your wellbeing. Telehealth appointments are designed to be comfortable and convenient while still providing high-quality, thorough care. You can expect the session to feel respectful, unhurried, and judgment-free. My goal is to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and make sure you feel supported — not rushed or overwhelmed. To help your visit go smoothly, please try to join the session from a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection. If possible, use headphones for added privacy. At the start of the appointment, we will confirm your location and emergency contact information, as required for telehealth safety. By the end of your evaluation, we will discuss clinical impressions, possible diagnoses (if appropriate), and treatment options. This may include therapy recommendations, coping strategies, lifestyle supports, and if needed, medication options. If medication is discussed, we will review the purpose, benefits, possible side effects, and what to expect after starting it. Treatment decisions are always made collaboratively, and you will never be pressured into a plan that does not feel right for you. Most importantly, you will leave your first session with a clearer understanding of what’s going on, what support is available, and what your next steps will be. You deserve care that is compassionate, detailed, and centered around your needs and I’m here to support you through that process.
Some of the most common include medication management and psychotherapy. I also use biofeedback, mindfulness techniques, and relaxation techniques to help patients manage their symptoms. I will also coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and therapist/social workers, to provide comprehensive care for their patients.
My biggest strengths are working with clients with depression, anxiety, bipolar, and ADHD. Working with men with self-esteem issues has also been a niche of mine. At the same time, providing medication management and helping the clients to complete more self-care. Working with the client's previously stated symptoms requires experience and patience. Having worked with various outpatient and crisis situations has provided me with the skills to treat and diagnose patients.
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to better understand their mental health and take meaningful steps toward feeling more stable, confident, and in control of their lives. I am best positioned to support clients who are struggling with ADHD, major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and bipolar disorder. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in cycles of overthinking, or unsure why things feel harder than they “should.” Some are managing daily responsibilities while silently battling anxiety, low motivation, mood swings, intrusive thoughts, trauma-related symptoms, or difficulty focusing and staying organized. Others may be seeking clarity after years of feeling misunderstood or misdiagnosed. I work best with clients who want care that is compassionate, structured, and personalized — whether your goal is symptom relief, emotional balance, improved focus, healthier relationships, or simply feeling like yourself again. If you are looking for a provider who listens deeply, takes your concerns seriously, and partners with you to create a treatment plan that fits your needs, I would be honored to support you.

I enjoyed my first session with Fitz. He is very thorough: he asked very important questions and follow-up questions. He was careful to get to know me as a whole person. I believe this is a great fit!
