A discreet and compassionate therapist who has lived experience with all major phases of life, I'm dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families find healing, authenticity, and balance. I've completed extensive training programs in EMDR and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Both are evidence-based treatment approaches that tap directly into the subconscious where the roots of maladaptive thoughts and behaviors truly lie. I'm a California Certified Sexual Assault Counselor, a mom to two adult sons, and have been married for over 26 years.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first EMDR session, we’ll begin gently. The focus is not on rushing into traumatic memories, but on helping you feel safe, understood, and informed about the process. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what symptoms or patterns you’d like help with, and what you hope will feel different. I’ll explain how EMDR works, answer questions, and help you learn grounding tools so the work feels manageable. You do not need to tell your whole story or relive painful experiences in detail. Together, we’ll create a roadmap for EMDR that moves at a pace your nervous system can tolerate and that supports meaningful, lasting healing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I've chosen to specialize in EMDR and ketamine assisted psychotherapy because both are empirically supported treatments for trauma, anxiety, and depression that do NOT require retelling your traumatic experience repeatedly and in great detail. In fact, doing so can retraumatize without providing lasting relief.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR is used to treat trauma without re-traumatizing you. Talk therapy is awesome – it's important to understand your story and influences – but there is only so much it can do. For real change, we need to tap into the subconscious to find the root memories where problematic patterns began and discharge them.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS identifies parts of yourself that were created to help you survive, IFS unburdens those parts so they can finally relax and enjoy life the way they were always meant to.

Attachment-based

Attachment styles inform the way we behave in relationship. I believe it's important to understand yours and the ways it affects your present relationships.
