I have always had a keen interest in mental health and entered this field with a strong and purposeful desire to help facilitate the psychiatric wellbeing of others. In addition to my psychiatric training and experience, I previously served as a registered nurse for 14 years primarily in critical care and cardio-thoracic and surgical nursing units. Compassion, altruism, attentiveness, and professionalism are but few components woven into the fabric of my character and detailed career.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
As a PMHNP I strive to listen well and pay great attention to detail. I also have the unique ability to connect with clients in ways that are personal, open, empathetic, and yet professional. More importantly, I strive to be a strong advocate for all patients.
I enjoy working with patients who need are goal directed towards their treatment goals but do not have the tools or knowledge accomplish their goals.
I use the supportive method in medication management because I want us to work on your goals together.
