I love seeing people grow and become the best version of themselves that they aspire to be. Transformation happens when we realize we’ve outgrown our old habits, environments, and routines and are ready for something new and positive, aligned with our highest selves. In my practice, I’m guided by core values of open-mindedness, respect for human dignity, non-judgment, and compassion. I take a holistic approach, using trauma-informed methods and always strive to keep each client's unique needs at the center. Working with me, you can expect a collaborative approach that empowers you to face life’s challenges. We begin with a psychosocial assessment and work together to determine treatment goals. Then, the journey begins. We begin by tapping into your thoughts and emotions to understand how they influence your life and relationships, ultimately gaining clarity. I am a huge advocate for mindfulness practices. Mindfulness helps us become more aware of ourselves and grow as people. It clears the mental clutter that comes from our busy lives and past experiences. With all the research supporting mindfulness, I firmly believe in learning and practicing it to help reshape our thoughts and perspectives. A few things about me: I’m Latina, fully fluent in Spanish, and work with all age groups. I love nature, especially the beach. I love people. I’m fascinated by people and their journeys. It’s an honor to work with my clients, and I hold the trust they place in me as something sacred. Being invited into their story to offer support means a great deal to me. If this resonates, I'd love to work together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will complete a psychosocial assessment where I ask questions about your background, current concerns, relationships, and any experiences that may be impacting your well-being. This helps me understand your story and the context of the challenges you are facing. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a sense of whether the therapeutic space feels like a good fit for you. Together, we will begin identifying your goals for therapy and discuss how we can work collaboratively to support your growth, healing, and overall well-being.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is that it is both trauma-informed and culturally responsive. I recognize that our experiences, identities, and environments, including culture, family dynamics, immigration experiences, and systemic stressors, play an important role in our mental health. I tryto create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood without judgment. I help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, past experiences, and current stressors influence their behaviors and relationships. At the same time, I focus on building practical coping skills that help clients manage anxiety, depression, and overwhelming emotions in their daily lives. I often integrate mindfulness, cognitive, and trauma-informed techniques, helping clients slow down, increase self-awareness, and shift patterns that may no longer serve them. My goal is to help clients develop greater clarity, resilience, and confidence so they can move forward in a way that feels more aligned with who they want to be. Clients often tell me they appreciate the balance of compassion and gentle challenge in our work together, as well as the space to explore difficult experiences while also focusing on growth and meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are exploring identity-related concerns, cultural experiences, and the emotional impact of racial discrimination or systemic stress. I also support individuals and families affected by immigration-related challenges, including acculturation stress, family separation, and uncertainty surrounding immigration processes. I am particularly well-positioned to work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds who want a therapist who understands the importance of cultural identity, family dynamics, and community context in the healing process. I work with individuals who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted and are seeking greater clarity, resilience, and balance in their lives. My clients are often motivated for growth and open to exploring their thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a supportive, non-judgmental space. Together, we focus on building coping skills, processing difficult experiences, strengthening self-understanding, and creating meaningful and sustainable change.
