In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, judgment-free environment where your voice is heard and valued. We’ll start by exploring your concerns, discussing your mental health history, and identifying what you hope to achieve through treatment. This session is all about getting to know you as a whole person—not just your symptoms—so we can create a personalized care plan that aligns with your goals. My approach is collaborative, and I’ll ensure you feel comfortable, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
My greatest strengths as a provider lie in my deep empathy, high emotional intelligence, and commitment to delivering individualized care. I excel at creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. My ability to combine holistic approaches with evidence-based treatments ensures that each client receives a comprehensive plan tailored to their unique needs. Additionally, my dedication to ongoing learning and staying at the forefront of mental health advancements allows me to provide the highest standard of care. Above all, I am passionate about empowering my clients to reclaim their mental well-being and achieve lasting, positive change.
I specialize in helping adolescents and adults navigate a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other psychiatric disorders. I also have extensive experience providing immediate follow-up care for individuals recently discharged from psychiatric hospitalization, helping them transition safely back into their daily lives while reducing the risk of relapse or readmission. Whether you are struggling with overwhelming emotions, difficulty concentrating, mood instability, or life transitions, I provide compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs and goals. In addition to outpatient psychiatry, I have extensive experience caring for high-acuity psychiatric patients, including individuals hospitalized for severe substance use disorders, alcohol withdrawal, drug overdoses, psychiatric decompensation, acute psychosis, untreated bipolar disorder, and suicide attempts. My clinical expertise includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, suicide and violence risk assessments, psychotropic medication management, crisis stabilization, and developing treatment plans for medically and psychiatrically complex patients. As a psychiatric consultant with hospital-based experience, I collaborate closely with hospitalists, emergency medicine physicians, intensivists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to evaluate and manage patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions. I serve as a psychiatric subject matter expert, providing evidence-based consultation for medically hospitalized patients with depression, anxiety, psychosis, delirium, substance use disorders, mood disorders, and behavioral disturbances. This experience has equipped me to effectively bridge the gap between medical and behavioral healthcare, ensuring patients receive coordinated, comprehensive treatment that improves clinical outcomes, enhances patient safety, and promotes successful transitions of care. Above all, I believe that healing begins with feeling heard. I strive to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and actively participating in their treatment. My goal is to build a collaborative therapeutic relationship that empowers each individual to achieve lasting mental wellness, improved quality of life, and long-term recovery.

As a psych provider, I utilize Solution-Focused Brief Treatment to empower clients by focusing on their strengths and goals. This method helps clients envision their desired outcomes and build on past successes. In my practice, it promotes rapid, positive change by emphasizing solutions rather than dwelling on problems.

In going over my meds, she said more than once that I needed to get off some of them. I agreed, but I felt judged by her tone (several times). She seemed uncaring (like it's just a job) & I left the session with much anxiety, as if my issues were dismissed. She's likely a competent provider, but just not the right fit for me. She made some changes so I have another appointment in 2 weeks. I hope to have a different provider before then if possible. Thank you.

First session with her this morning and it was very eye opening. It was nice to have everything I was thinking being validated and then given some really good advice on top of that. Definitely intend on staying with this woman for my healing journey.
