(he/him)
Greetings to all of you. My name is Jameion B. Fowler. I'm so happy to be able to work with a variety of different populations throughout my career. These include Mental Health, Substance Abuse and work with Children and families. I am currently working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Therapist. I am currently licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina.
We will complete an assessment to see what issues will subsequently need to be addressed in our time together. We will also begin to work on building client rapport with me (therapist) and begin to build upon strengths that you (client) can use in the therapeutic experience. You will hopefully begin to realize that this is (and always will be) a judgement free experience.
I believe that the greatest strength that I possess is the fact that I am share many of the experiences of the individuals that I work with. I have done my own work to heal and reconcile my past and I would love to assist others on their past.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Over the course of treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-inspired and trauma-informed techniques and interventions will be used to assist individuals in learning to recognize their distortions in thinking that are creating problems, and then to reevaluate them in light of more reality-based interpretations. Individuals will be encouraged to gain a better understanding of the behaviors and motivations of others. These techniques and activities will also essential in assisting individuals in using problem-solving skills and self-care techniques to cope with difficult situations and learning to develop a greater sense of confidence in their own abilities.

He was direct and made me think of on my own not just giving everything away.

It’s my first session speaking with Jaimeion. I felt safe because of his demeanor. He listens well and he speaks well. I believe he is genuine. All of this, and more, have given me hope for healing.
