Great Day to You, I'm Karen! I'm a veteran of the United States Navy & have over 10 years in the behavioral health field. I understand how past experiences & as well as ever day life can cause depression & anxiety, & hinder a person's ability to move forward. in our first session we will have brief introductions to get to know one another to determine if I'm a good fit for your needs and to go over what you want to accomplish in therapy.
Through cognitive behavior therapy, you will be able to identify what is upsetting you, to include thoughts & feelings & ways to reshape those thoughts into a more positive view. Through mindfulness therapy, you will learn how to manage your mind & body in response to stressors.
