Sabre Watkins
My name is Sabre Watkins, and I am a dual licensed family and mental health provider offering a comprehensive, personalized approach to care that includes talk therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), coaching, and medication management. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions, creating a safe, supportive space to foster both healing and growth. My approach is collaborative and integrative—whether we're exploring emotional patterns in therapy, building skills through CBT, creating goals through coaching, or evaluating the role of medication in your overall wellness plan. I believe in treating the whole person and tailoring care to fit your unique needs and goals.
Together, we work to build your understanding and confidence around your mental health, helping you become truly savvy about your experiences and how to manage them.
If you're looking for a thoughtful, evidence-based partner on your mental health journey, I’d be honored to work with you.
First session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get a clear, full picture of your mental health needs—especially if you're seeking support with medication management. During this 45–60 minute evaluation, we’ll: Discuss your current symptoms, mood, and any challenges you’re experiencing Review your personal and family mental health history Talk about your past experiences with psychiatric medications (if any), including what helped or didn’t Assess whether starting, continuing, or adjusting medication may be helpful for you Answer any questions you may have about medications, side effects, and how they work This is a collaborative space—your preferences, concerns, and goals matter. If medication feels like the right next step, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan that may include prescriptions, monitoring, and lifestyle or behavioral recommendations. If you’re already on medication, we’ll review how it’s working and explore potential adjustments if needed.

Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize a combined approach that integrates talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and coaching to provide a flexible and comprehensive treatment experience. This method allows for dynamic adjustment within each session based on the client’s evolving needs. For instance, a session might begin with talk therapy to explore and process a recent emotional conflict. From there, we could transition into CBT techniques to identify and reframe the negative thought patterns associated with the experience. Finally, we would incorporate coaching strategies to develop actionable steps—such as setting healthy boundaries or preparing a communication script—to support the client in moving forward with confidence.
