Hi, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California, with 3 years of experience. I help adolescents and adults address traumatic experiences, navigate life transisitions and work through depression or anxiety. I use a relational approach to treatment and I collaborate with my clients to help meet their therapy goals. I'd love to walk this journey with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first therapy session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. You can share what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you have. I’ll explain how I work and answer your questions. It’s a safe, judgment-free space to start building trust and creating a plan tailored to your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a relational provider, I understand that relationships and collaboration are tools that help clients feel seen. My goal is to empower you to be an active participant in your healing. You are the expert on your life. I'm here to help!

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My clients often seek therapy because they feel stuck. At times, they are struggling with mental health challenges or trauma, and they don't recognize how it has impacted their lives; they just know there is something they can't "put their finger on." Once we identify these challenges, I will work with you to gather and use specific tools to help overcome those challenges.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am EMDR trained and pursuing certification. EMDR helps your brain process tough memories so they don’t feel as overwhelming or painful anymore. It’s like giving your mind a chance to sort through and “file away” things that might have been stuck, helping you feel more at peace with those experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thought patterns that may be holding you back and explore ways to challenge and reframe them.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my practice, I use DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) to help you build skills for managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, and staying grounded in difficult moments. We’ll focus on practical tools like mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication. These skills can empower you to feel more in control of your emotions and make choices that support your overall well-being.
