Rather than following a single framework, I integrate techniques from evidence-based approaches such as l cognitive-behavioral strategies, DBT, solution focused methods, and mindfulness. A key strength is the balance between insight and action. I don’t just help explore underlying thoughts or emotional patterns; I also emphasize clear, manageable steps you can apply in your day-to-day life. The goal is not only understanding, but meaningful change.
I’m the most effective with client who are aware of what they need to change but ambivalent on how to do so. These clients are self-aware. insight into problems, motivated but yet stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. The clients might have challenges anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, depression and/or relationship challenges. During the initial session client might not be aware of goals want to identify but will collaborate with patient developing goals in treatment.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have over 9 years experience with providing CBT as primary techniques in sessions. Focus on role thoughts are impacting behavior and explore effects cognitive distortions.

What I appreciate most about Kwame Carter is how authentic and grounded he is. He creates a space that feels real, not rehearsed, and that makes it easy to open up. He’s also very solution-oriented our sessions aren’t just about reflection, they’re about movement. Every conversation feels like progress with purpose.
