Hello Everyone! My name is Lyndal Bedford and I am a licensed clinical social worker. My role is to come alongside you as you discover the peace, hope, and joy of life that you were always meant to have. I work to provide a safe space to process thoughts and emotions that can be overwhelming. If you feel stuck and do not know how to move forward, come talk with me!
In our first session together, we will begin with brief introductions and going over the goals of therapy. We will discuss confidentiality and what the purpose of therapy is. Afterwards, this will be the time to share your situation to the extent that you feel comfortable. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Working with clients for the past 5 years, I have been able to tailor therapy that safely allows the clients to process their story one chapter at a time. Through the process, I am able to ask questions from multiple perspectives that are respectful and meaningful.
I provide faith-integrated, trauma-informed therapy and soul-care support to help individuals grow mentally, heal spiritually, and reconnect with healthy community. My primary focus areas include: Faith-Integrated trauma recovery, church hurt, spiritual abuse, religious life transitions (deconstruction, burnout, denominational change), spiritual identity formation, soul-care integration and community/faith integration support. The clients that I am best positioned to work with are individuals/families healing from church hurt/abuse, ministry leaders experiencing burnout, young adults and adults navigating spiritual issues/life transitions, and faith-based communities and organizations.

Christian Counseling
With Christian Counseling, I integrate biblical principles with the psychology of therapy. I incorporate scripture into the healing process.

I think that the thing that makes Lyndal so great is his approach. He lets you talk through everything and raises some questions every now and again to help you get some insight. I feel like I have grown a lot since starting therapy with him.
