I am a warm, empathetic, and compassionate listener, cradled with a sense of deep optimism and genuine curiosity derived from my own life experiences. My style is collaborative, directive, constructive, compassionate, and warm. I have a deep respect for the human condition and am comfortable with the pain that sometimes results from life.My style is collaborative and directive, but non-confrontational. You will leave each session with a good idea of how to manage your particular circumstances. I offer a balance between directive, constructive and honest feedback, and compassion, humor, insight and warmth. Blue Bullet BoxI have deep respect for the human condition and am comfortable with the pain, shame, or loss of purpose that life sometimes hands us. Blue Bullet BoxI understand issues both as a well trained professional and as a fellow traveler – my insight is gained from having lived a life with its share of challenges and learned how to meet them through self-examination and transformation.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first task will be to ensure we are a good fit, establish a relationship that honors who you are, and provide you with a trusted, non-judgmental place to explore how you got to a place of emotional pain. The first session is what is called an Intake appointment, where I will ask you about different areas of your life, the symptoms you are experiencing, and the goals you have for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Therapy greatly aided my life as an adolescent. As a result of my positive experience, I became a therapist. I am passionate about this profession and want to help individuals, couples, and families achieve their goals and life satisfaction.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using primarily a cognitive-behavioral approach, I provide both short and longer term therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a broad range of presenting problems.

Gottman method

As a Level 1 trained Gottman Marital Therapist, I help couples strengthen their relationships. Couples learn to replace negative conflict patterns with positive interactions and to repair past hurts. Interventions are designed to increase closeness and intimacy, improve friendship, and deepen their emotional connection.
