Hello there! I'm a Texas-based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specialized post-graduate level training in perinatal mental health, trauma, insomnia, and parenting support. If you're ready to work together to reach your goals and improve your well-being, let's talk!
Counseling provides a space where you can truly feel seen and heard. So in our first session together, we'll talk about why you're seeking counseling and what you hope to accomplish. You'll be able to tell your story and I'll ask some questions to help guide my understanding of where you are and where you'd like to go in your therapy journey.
I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you achieve growth and healing. My areas of practice focus on women’s issues such as perinatal mental health (pregnancy through postpartum), trauma, neurodiversity, eating disorders/body image, interpersonal problems, career challenges, parenting, and family life.
I'm experienced at guiding people as they step into their authentic, confident selves.
Clients usually seek my help when they are anxious, depressed, or having difficulty adjusting to life’s challenges. And I know how difficult it can be to take that first step of reaching out and asking for help when you're feeling stuck and overwhelmed. But I'll meet you where you're at - with compassionate, professional support to provide you with hope and guidance in overcoming what you're facing. I can help you to clarify your values, work through traumatic experiences, develop healthy coping skills, increase your self-esteem, navigate life transitions, and improve your relationships.
