Are you a millennial or Gen Z Christian woman struggling with anxiety in your relationships? You're not alone. I specialize in helping young women like you navigate the complexities of anxiety, attachment, and codependency through a unique blend of psychological principles and Christian faith. I also specialize in helping those suffering from religious trauma or who are looking to reconnect with their faith. Together, we will explore your attachment style, work through inner child wounds, and uncover your spiritual gifts to help you live a purposeful, God-led life. My goal is to empower you to overcome your anxiety and cultivate healthy, fulfilling relationships rooted in faith and self-discovery. I am licensed in Pennsylvania with 7+ years of professional counseling experience. I believe in helping people overcome societal norms by coaching them through living a life that satisfies their authenticity. I believe that no dream is out of reach. All it takes is a shift in mindset, belief, strategy, support, and grace. Together, we put it all on the table and make a reasonable and achievable plan. Therapy can be a place for laughter, hard work, and tough love -- growth and healing come from both ends of the spectrum.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will have a casual conversation that will help give me clarity as to where you've been and where you would like to go. We will talk about what is bringing you to therapy, your family history and dynamics, your support systems, self-care, hobbies and interests; and what your hopes are for therapy, as well as what you expect from your new therapist!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Clients have told me that I have changed their expectations of therapy (humble brag!). My priority is to be fully present each session, and I value casuality as much as I value professionalism. I work to adapt my approach to meet client needs. Some clients need somewhere to vent, while others seek a more structured roadmap. Either way, feeling that my client walked away from the session with something valuable is my professional goal. No matter the reason for joining therapy, I highly recommend that all clients incorporate tailored routines, tools, and resources to keep doing the work between sessions (though homework is never mandatory). I work best with clients who are open-minded, coachable, and ready to make positive changes but need some direction, support, and guidance.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

We focus on the unchangeable and put our focus on what we CAN change - our thoughts and behaviors. This helps us focus on the things that matter to us and break out of negative feedback loops.

EMDR

Less talking, more brain rewiring! With EMDR, we use emotion freedom techniques to anchor in the present and self-soothe while processing past experiences that have ineffectively shaped our beliefs about ourselves and how we relate to the world around us.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

We focus on emotion regulation, urge surfing, and building distress tolerance so we can break the cycle of self-sabotage.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I'm the professional of change, and you are the professional of you! Together, we collaborate to find a way forward.
