About me

I take an integrative approach. My therapeutic style is person-centered, directive and genuine. I work with people from diverse backgrounds/cultures, couples, families, individuals, children and adolescents. I specialize in relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma, codependency, self-esteem and identity, grief and loss, family conflict, 1st and 2nd generational therapy, and general difficulties that you may experience from major and minor life transitions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I will begin by providing you with a brief overview of my background and clinical experience, so you have a sense of who I am and how I work. The primary focus of this session, however, will be on getting to know you — not only what brings you to therapy, but also understanding you as a whole person. I’d like to explore what you hope to gain from therapy and begin identifying your goals so we can work collaboratively to develop a plan that best supports your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe one of my strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable, safe, and truly heard. I draw on my cultural background and lived experience to help navigate and hold space for cultural stressors and identity-related challenges that may come up in therapy. Having been raised in the Buddhist tradition and now identifying as more spiritual in my personal life, I am open to incorporating mindfulness, spiritual exploration into our work—if that aligns with your values and interests. My goal is always to meet you where you are and tailor the therapeutic process in a way that feels meaningful and relevant to you

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Life can feel so uncertain and overwhelming right now. Change is inevitable and managing change can sometimes be difficult. I will work with you to collaboratively develop a plan that will address your needs, incorporate your strengths, explore the joys and hardships in life, help conceptualize your identity, and help seek fulfillment in everyday life.
