I have worked with clients in a variety of settings with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, relationship issues, phases of life issues, grief, and trauma. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I implement an integrative approach that utilizes a variety of techniques. I recognize that there is no "one size fits all" approach to one's mental health journey. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will encourage an open dialogue and transparency during sessions so we can work together to help you become the best version of yourself.
During our first session I will encourage an open dialogue as well as gain some basic background information. We will discuss how I can help you achieve your goals in a therapeutic setting and discuss treatment planning. This will also be the time for you to ask me any questions about therapy, the therapeutic process, and anything else you want to know.
Having worked in a variety of settings the past couple of years, I have a vast knowledge of treatment planning options that are tailored to your goals and what you want to achieve.
I strive to help others become the best version of themselves. However, often times this can come with challenges from within ourselves as well as just life stressors in general. I firmly believe that we are more than what has happened to us in the past, who we have interacted with, and what our life circumstances are. I currently have a podcast to help others heal from toxic, narcissistic, invalidating relationships.

I have implemented this technique in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In a nutshell, feelings are valid and important. However, sometimes emotional regulation is effective and helpful in various scenarios in our lives. Together we will implement mindfulness, distress tolerance, and many other skills.
Often times when I have seen clients in a therapeutic setting, I could not help but notice that we often forget our strengths when we are experiencing challenging times. This approach we will explore how to enhance our strengths and self-love.
