New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years post-masters experience and 15 years post-licensure of experience supporting adults through stress, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, and burnout. I have a special interest in maternal mental health, parenting, women’s wellness, grief and helping people move through overwhelming seasons of transition with greater clarity and self compassion. My style is warm, thoughtful, and direct, creating a space where you can better understand yourself, feel supported, and make meaningful changes. My approach is collaborative and grounded in both insight and practical support. I draw from attachment based, internal family systems, mindfulness, and compassion focused approaches to help you make sense of patterns, emotions, and relationships while building tools you can use in daily life. I balance support with gentle challenge so you can better understand yourself, including why your brain responds the way it does, and begin to move forward rather than feel stuck.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin to understand what matters most to you right now and how you’ve been navigating it. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable, focusing on your current stressors, your story, and what you’re hoping for, while also giving you a sense of how I work so you can decide if it feels like a good fit. Most people leave with a subtle shift in perspective and a bit more ease around what they’ve been carrying, feeling more grounded and less alone.
My greatest strengths are creating a space where people feel deeply understood while also helping them move toward meaningful change. I blend insight oriented work with practical tools, helping clients understand patterns, relationships, nervous system responses, and the “why” behind what they’re experiencing in a way that feels compassionate, grounded, and actionable. What makes my work unique is the combination of over 20 years of clinical experience across crisis work, acute mental health settings, organizational wellness, women’s mental health, grief, and relational work, along with my ability to integrate both emotional depth and practical support. Clients often describe my style as warm, thoughtful, direct, and gently challenging, with a balance of emotional support, self reflection, and forward movement.
I work best with adults who are reflective and wanting a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Many of my clients are navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, parenting, motherhood, or other major life transitions and are looking for both emotional support and practical tools. I’m especially well suited for people who want therapy that feels warm, thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in both emotional insight and meaningful change.
