Chike Ogbonna
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents, adults, and older adults. I specialize in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, insomnia, and other mental health concerns. My goal is to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to achieve improved mental wellness and overall quality of life.
First session
Together, we will explore potential diagnoses, review treatment options, and develop a personalized plan tailored to your unique needs. This may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle strategies, or additional resources when appropriate. Most importantly, I strive to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in your mental health journey. You do not have to navigate these challenges alone. We will work together every step of the way.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths is my commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that recognizes each individual’s unique experiences, challenges, and goals. I believe effective mental health treatment begins with building a trusting therapeutic relationship where patients feel heard, respected, and understood.
Ideal clients
My approach combines comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. I help clients better understand their symptoms, develop effective coping strategies, improve daily functioning, and achieve their mental health and wellness goals. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, insomnia, and other mood or stress-related conditions.
