Jodi Herndon has over a decade of experience providing individualized care for adults and adolescents with depression and anxiety. She has spent the last decade specializing in individuals with substance use disorders and has a dual license in this specialty. Jodi treats individuals impacted by trauma using trauma-specific techniques, like EMDR. She has continued to educate herself in new treatment modalities and is pursuing her Ph.D. in psychology. Jodi Herndon aims to be the best therapist possible for her patients to meet their needs.
In your first session, I will collect background information and assist you with developing an individualized treatment plan. Your treatment plan is composed of the goals that you would like to achieve at the end of therapy and the steps that I will take to support you.
I have spent the last decade focusing on specializing in substance use disorders and the co-occurring diagnoses most frequently identified with them. In the last three years, I returned to also working with adolescents given the increase in stress, anxiety, and depression, and identify based disorders that they have experienced since COVID.
